Hi everyone! I'm new here, this is my lovely cat cinder, I adopted her from a lady that just had a baby and unfortunately she couldn't keep her cat. I paid an adoption fee for this cat and it wasn't cheap, I love her to bits already, I've had her for about two months. I'm just curious what breed you think she is? The lady told me she was a purebred persian, I'm not sure though as she didn't
provide papers.

Welcome to TCS :wavey:

If she's a purebred Persian, and you paid for that, you should have gotten her registration papers from the previous owner. Unfortunately, there is a tendency for a lot of people to call any longhaired cat a Persian. She's a cutie, but from the pictures you posted I would say Cinder is at most a Persian mix. Her short nose is similar to the old-style Persians, not the modern show cats. Her ears are definitely not standard for Persians. Her fur isn't quite as long as most Persians I've seen, unless she's a very young cat who hasn't gotten her full coat yet.

Without registration papers (proof of ancestry) she would be considered a DLH (Domestic Longhair).
