My cat has a wound at the back of his neck w/c looks like a scratch, and not deep. It's healing and drying up but he scratched it again recently and it bled a little. He lost some hair in that area too.

The last time I used Frontline flea treatment on him was nearly a year ago and he didnt have any bad reactions to it... I just wanna know if I can still use it when he has wound near the area Frontline has to be applied (an inch away from between shoulderblades)??

If you can wait until the wound heals, I would.  Those topicals are alcohol-based, so it would really burn if it got into the wound.

Thanks, Ondine. Though I'm worried that he'll keep having new wounds if he keeps scratching himself...

Is he scratching because of fleas or flea allergies? If so, get some Capstar and sprinkle it on his food. That and maybe a bath, might help him stop scratching and help you get ahead of the problem.
