Does anyone know of a single protein canned food that does not contain any chicken, fish, beef, corn, rice, oatmeal, gluten, wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, by-products, spinach, carrageenan, or nitrates that can be purchased in a store and does not source imgredients from China? Some of these foods I have been told to avoid by the vet, some of them I have found out that my cats do better without (by process of elimination), and others I have just heard that they are bad. I don't have to totally avoid fish like I do some of the other foods, but I would like to feed it sparingly to avoid UTIs later. Also, I am not completely certain yet that chicken is an issue. I could try to reintroduce it and see if they tolerate it. It would have to be white meat though. I am currently feeding my cats a limited ingredient grain-free dry food that they are doing well on (no more puking or loose stools). I hate to fix what (finally) isn't broken, but I would like to add some canned food to their diet for moisture and see if they can tolerate it. Any suggestions about a simple canned food that fits the bill?

Homemade. :lol3: Though eggs are a great source of so many vitamins, it's hard to give them a miss when you make your own food.

Since it's only been a few weeks since things finally stabilized, I wouldn't be in a rush.

And yes, Hound & Gatos fits the bill: http://houndgatos.com/
