My cat, Stinkie, has been sleeping on top of me for the past month or so. Last night, when he got up to go eat or use the litter box, I must have gotten cold and pulled the covers up to my neck without realizing it (while sleeping). When he came back and jumped up on the bed he tried to get on top of the only part of me that was uncovered so that he could go back to sleep. Unfortunately that happened to be my face
! I woke up immediately (of course, since I wasn't breathing air - I was breathing cat) to a fuzzy Stinkie belly on my face. I pulled the covers back down and he moved. Apparently, he was planning on sleeping on top of me any way that he could. I think he was trying to teach me a lesson. I definitely learned it! That was the first time in a long time that I have woke up laughing in the middle of the night.
