Hello cat lovers! My name is Mollee, and I am an Advertising student at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. For a project, we had to create a survey on a product of our choice. I chose Nature's Variety cat food. I am also a cat lover; I have three cats. I did my project on cat food because I am very interested in learning about cat nutrition.

Thank you for taking the time to take my survey!

Note: I did clear this with Anne Moss, the moderator. She said it was okay to post! =)

Yes, that would be great! I need as many responses as possible.

Just wondering if you are seeking opinions of strong cat lovers? If not, you should make your survey available elsewhere, too. This website is probably heavily populated with people who will spend and do whatever it takes to feed kitty the best way possible within their means.

Yes, that's a good idea! I'm trying to reach anyone I can, but it's difficult because I don't have many friends. I'm not sure of who to ask and I don't want to come off as spam.

I have 4 computers (2 desktops, 2 laptops). Each desktop computer has two hard drives in it. In each desktop, one hard drive runs the Linux operating system and the second hard drive runs the Windows operating system. I'm usually using one of my two desktop tower computers. The laptop computers are used for travel.

Question #24 does not work properly in the survey for me. No matter what number I put in, the survey won't take the number I choose. The survey puts in it's own number for all 7 choices for the question. I thought this might be due to me using the Linux (Mint 14 distro) 64-bit operating system (in XFCE flavor). So I switched to my second hard drive which runs the Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system and the same thing happens with question #24.

Since I can't answer question #24, I didn't complete the survey. My unscientific guess is there is a glitch somewhere, either in the coding in the survey for question #24 (mostly likely) or it's the Cat Site itself (less likely).

That's really strange, because it works for me. I had trouble with it in the beginning, but then I realized that when I choose a number in the drop-down menu, the actual words switch around, not the numbers. For instance, if I choose 4 for the first option, that option moves to the fourth space rather than that option being still first in the list but with a number 4 next to it. Does that make sense? Haha, sorry I'm bad at explaining things. But maybe that's what the problem is? Thanks for bringing it up though.

Molldee,

After seeing your explanation, I was looking at the numbers and not at the "subject" which means it was "operator error" on my part. Probably due to the 3 hours of sleep I got last night.

I completed and submitted the survey.

BTW, it's a nice survey. Well thought out.

Haha, I know what it's like to function on three hours of sleep! Thank you for taking it again though.
