Microchip problems

Hi all, im not sure where this should go but i really need help. Im in the process of moving to the UK(im currently in Canada) and i have to get my cats microchipped, only one of my cats microchips keeps falling out! I keep finding it tangled in her long fur, the vet hasnt seen anything like it before. Im onto the third try now and if it doesnt stay in i worry that i wont be allowed to bring her into the country. Has anyone else had problems with microchips falling out? Im running out of time now, i leave in just over 2 weeks and i cant leave without my girl. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks

I have no idea how this is happening.  The hole they insert the microchip into usually heals right up (it isn't that big to begin with).  Is there a way for the vet to stitch it in place?

Make sure you document this, too.  The chip makers need to know about this issue.

That's weird!  I've never heard of that either. 

I just googled and some people say it may happen if the chip isn't inserted properly. I hadn't heard of them falling out either
