Dump cake made with cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple and yellow cake mix.  It's so ridiculously easy.  My kids would put it together when they were little, with supervision of course.

Baked Brie. Does this count as a savory pastry?

My sister told me an easy way to make it: wrap a wedge of brie in a sheet of Pillsbury crescent rolls and bake. Just unroll the whole can and pinch the perferated lines together and you have an instant, super yummy sheet of dough. I can eat it with a fork, right off the baking tray!

Caramelised onion tarts are pretty good. I made some for a Christmas dinner starter once, but confess to having used ready made tart cases.  It involved sauteing a huge pile of finely sliced French onions for literally hours until soft golden brown, mixing in to a cream and egg custard with French grain mustard, and then baking until set.  Very yummy whether hot or cold but they took so long to make I haven't done them again.  Good for anyone who doesn't eat cheese too as none added unlike most savoury pastries.  The recipe came out of a Simon Rimmer vegetarian cook book and had loads of nice recipes in it.

Flaky tomato and goats cheese tarts. Puff pastry base topped with goats cheese, sour cream, vine ripened tomatoes, pine nuts, basil leaves and a balsamic glaze.

Mohnstrudel is kind of like apple strudel, with poppy seed paste instead of apples.  But the dough is not flaky.  It's definitely an acquired taste.  I think I pretty much refused to eat this when I was younger, but now I look forward to the holidays and fresh mohnstrudel.  :)

Lumpia?  Not a sweet pastry, but I think the flaky outside crust would put them into the category.  Sort of like an egg roll, with ground beef, ground pork, carrots and green beans.  It's almost impossible to find the right wraps here in the States, but I've been wanting to make some for the longest time.  Egg roll wraps will do.

We always have cheese Babka with Easter dinner.  Wikipedia says its a brioche-like yeast cake.  I have no idea what that means.  :)    Cheese filled is my favorite, but it also comes in cherry or chocolate (and probably others, but we've never had them.  My Great Aunt used to call this the Seven Sisters.  Never knew what that meant til I saw these pics:

I'll see you your pumpkin muffins and raise you some apple dumplings for the freezer!

Back here cleaning out my desk....what a mess it is right now. Rick did his this morning.

Anybody have The Red Zone on your cable TV? I got it for Rick for Christmas this year. Any time a pro football team gets within (I think it is) 10 yards of the goal line, TRZ channel automatically kicks over to that game. That way, Rick gets to see the touchdown attempts, but doesn't have to sit through the miserable Eagles games (poor Rick and his Eagles). Right now, he's outside, pruning the weigela bushes out back.

Oh cream puffs! I make some awesome strawberry cream puffs! And some good chocolate cream puffs, too! Those ones from Hungary sound decadent!
Ha Ha! Love it! Yes, Eric has the Red Zone with his new gold Optimum package! I am there every Sunday because we can't get Kansas City Chiefs games aired locally (NYC). It is pretty cool, although can get confusing at times, watching so many games at once. It always seems Kansas City Chiefs get the least air time even though they are the only undefeated team so far this season.........The Red Zone changes broadcast to every team within  the 20 yard line of touchdown. It's always the same commentator all day, it cracks me up! There are times when he stops talking, silence for several minutes...............I am sure he is on bathroom break or dinner break!

Pastry?! Oh yeah, my roommate makes an absolutely delicious apple pie, and I say this falls under pastry because her crust is from scratch and the first crust I have enjoyed as much as the apple filling!

Chocolate eclairs. Choux pastry filled with whipped cream and iced with chocolate icing. Like a cream puff or profiterole but a different shape.

Paczkis   They are a Polish jelly filled doughnut that are very rich.  We can only get them here shortly before Lent.  They are a Polish tradition for Fat Tuesday.
