So I've been caring for feral cats at a farm. Their caretaker passed away. The bad part is that there are 5-6 females there having kittens whenever they're able. I've rehomed almost every kitten now and gotten them a clean bill of health! I just did some research and found a spay/neuter clinic for cases exactly like this. This means I will be able to save every cat!!!! My last resort was giving them to a shelter. They're all very wild and would likely be euthanized. Now that I'm able to have them spayed and neutered they can stay and live a long happy life! I'm so happy for them and I had to share my cat happiness with others who will understand. I think after I'm done with controlling the population at this farm I will move to other farms with the same problem. So many kittens out there... So few homes. Spay/neuter your cat and your neighbors cat if you can! During my research I found that 90,000 animals in my state alone are euthanized in shelters and 80% of cats never find a home. It's heartbreaking! I hope to change some lives.

Ps I have no idea where to put this. If this is the wrong place could someone private message me and let me know where this should go? I'm fairly new and don't know where to find forum rules. :(

What a great post! You gave me a big smile this morning. Kudos for a job very, very well done! I understand you not wanting to put them into a shelter and I think you managed a great job!

That's great news!!

One of the things on my wish list to do if I ever win a huge lottery, is the establish, fund and staff a completely free spay/neuter clinic specifically for TNR.

Thank you!! My dream is to start my own rescue no-kill shelter for all animals. While being a vet, and spay/neuter at a low/no cost for feral cats and low cost spay for low income households and such. So many cats could be saved if more people spayed! Same with every other animal.
