My cat is perfectly healthy and we were going about normally. She threw up twice on my bed and I would call her name looking at her. At first she looked very tired and then when I called her she would look at me and make a low moaning meow noise maybe close her eyes slowly. About an hour after that she went under the bathtub because we have a storage space under there and stayed for a long time. About 2 hours later I tried giving her, her favorite food but she wouldn't eat it. Shortly after I heard a noise like someone or more specifically the cat was choking. I look in the bathroom and find her trying to swallow something or throw up again Im not sure what she had in her mouth. Her food untouched, and she was in her litter box. Then goes back under for a few hours. My Aunt was trying to get her out calling her name but nothing happened. It's. now 5 am and they went to the vet at 3. The cat was barely moving and looked sickly-ill. They haven't come back yet. May anyone answer what the heck is going on with my cat please? If she's dying or sick or if anything is wrong with her stomach? I reviewed other similar posts and I'd like to just know what is going on. All I can do now is wait for them to come back.

What food do you feed your cat? .. how old is your cat? ... how long have you had your cat?

Also when she did vomit was there anything in it, hairballs or food, or was it just bile? Sorry that your cat is not feeling well, hopefully the vet will have some answers.

I feed my cat normal cat food from a pet store. Nothing special. She's 14 years. Perfectly healthy and all of a sudden this happened

Is there any way she could have ate something poisonous? Or ate a mouse that had eaten rat poison? One of my long haired cats throws up hair balls quite often. I'm not sure the stuff I'm giving him is helping. I can always tell when he's fixing to cough one up. He makes this low, long, mewling sound first. That might explain the sound she made. He doesn't get lifeless though. I'm not sure what would cause that. Did you have a chance to look at her gums? If the gums are pale to a white color she may be anemic. It doesn't take long for that to happen in some cases. My cat Bubba recently had Feline Infectious Anemia (FIA). He was okay one day, didn't eat as much as usual, but the next day he couldn't stand up. There's a lot of things that can cause vomiting, but the barely moving part is a puzzle. You didn't say how old she was or how long you've had her. I hope she's back from the vet by now and that it's not anything serious. Please keep us posted.

Thanks, I've had her since birth a she's 14 (human yrs) and her gums are healthy dark pinkish red color like always. She's still at the vet. My Aunt said the doctors are doing some tests and will release her once they are done whenever that is...

I just got word, Puśia, my cat has been admitted to the recovery room about 5 hours ago. Im in school so I get updated when I check on her. She's sleeping. She had stomach problems and they injected her with something to help her stomach. They still will check for anything else. Ex: broken ribs.

Sorry about the late response, she is doing fine. We just went out and got her some of that funny mush stuff that will help her stomach. Just have to cautious about what I feed her.

I'm on an iPhone too. I have to proofread everything I write. You wouldn't believe how it changes words and gives them a totally different meaning! I'm so glad your kitty is doing better. I haven't been on here in 2 or 3 days and just wanted to check on her. Did the vet say what was wrong with her? What did the tests show?
