Has anyone tried a vet mobile, someone who sees your pets at home vs a visit to the clinic?

I really like our Cat-only Vet clinic but we have moved to a new home, which is in a new city. Not far, but when the kits don't enjoy car rides, it seems a lot further! (22-25 miles)

My husband's co-worker recommended a vet mobile in our area. She prefers this over the drive to a clinic.

Please share you experiences, pros and cons, etc.

Thanks!

I don't think we have one near us but I'd try it in a heartbeat.  I would pay to be able to have the vet see all our cats at the same time.  Less aggravation for the cats, less aggravation for me.

No on does that where I live.  If I had the option and someone had given it a recommendation I'd be trying it out!  Way less stressful for your cat if there's no need to travel or go to scary, strange smelling clinics.  I'd check out what they are able to do by way of mobile cover, and whether there are other more complex treatments you would need to go to their clinic or another one for though.  Ask about how it would work for booking appointments and how they do or don't provide emergency cover.

Great questions to ask, writing those down!

My husband's coworker did mention that her cat hides when someone's at the door now. But my Petey already does that.

I think i'm going to give it a try though, thanks!
