Thanks! It's Silestone, an engineered quartz thing (97% of it is real crushed quartz, which is then bonded together with something, and they add Microban, which is anti-microbial). It's heat-resistant, stain-proof, doesn't need to be sealed (as most granite does). It shines up beautifully--we use Windex of all things! I bought it at Home Depot a few years ago; the color is African Red (even though there is NO red in it; it's brown!).Oh MargeCat! She is adorable!
