Hi! 

My name is Nina, and I've had cats all my life (Mum had two when i was born and there were never less than that in our house hold) so the hardest thing about moving out was being cat-less (my sister just started college and says the same thing lol) . In Aug I moved to my first pet-friendly apartment and I have a wonderful relationship with my landlords (who actually have been bugging me to GET pets haha) so when my friend contacted me about a litter of rescue kittens needing a home, I took two. 



They came home yesterday, so I am still in the process of naming them. Both are girls, they are 6 weeks old (too young to be away from mum ) but they seem to be doing well. I do have a question or two about their eating habits but I'll post those in the kitten forum. I've never had cats this young before!

nurseangel, they love having someone to snuggle and play with, and I feel a million times better about leaving them alone as much as I have to (I work a LOT) since they have each other.

They've had upset stomachs since I brought them home but I have them on special food and medication from the vets now and it seems to be helping already

Welcome - I'm new too. I miss my little kittens, they went to their new homes a few months ago.

welcome! They are very very cute and sweet. They might not be staying here, though. They are quite a lot more work than I anticipated and I'm not sure they are the right fit for me or me for them. With the hours  I work I am finding I don't have the time to give them the attention they need and deserve. But someone I know has a far more kitten-ideal situation and she might take them on, and in turn I will take the bonded adult pair she has that need a home. It's been a  really rough week for me (lots and lots of tears, oh my) but I think this is the right thing to do for all involved.
