hello from illinois

hello just thought i'd drop in an introduce myself before i hop into posting. i am a female in my late 20s and i've adopted a kitten (4 mos old) for the first time in 10 years. I've always been a cat person since i was little but i had went a long time without any pets. I wanted to to adopt more than 1 but with my budget and considering that I will be moving in the future to an apartment I can only afford 1 and its already hard enough to find a place that accepts 1 cat, it would be really pushing it if i had more. but being a single kitty hasnt really seem to affect her at all and shes very sweet.

I found this site researching foods. Although my family has raised cats when I was younger I never knew about certain things until I started lurking this site.
