Hi all,
I have another post specifically asking for some advice about some new kittens I am taking in, found here: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/266793/new-foster-mom but I would like to introduce everyone to my current cat family! I have two big males of my own, and have recently become a foster mom to two 7 month old poly-dactyl sisters. Wish me luck finding homes for them!
Meet Romeo, 15 pounds of drama! But don't let his size fool you, he's a giant kitten at heart. He just turned two about last month. I've had him since January 2012, and he gets the privilege of being my first "official" cat (not owned by my parents). His hobbies include sleeping on his back in the middle of the floor, sucking up to my boyfriend for some male bonding, reminding me that its breakfast time at 6AM, and following me into the kitchen every single time, just in case
I also have Loki, my personal cuddle-buddy. Weighing in just under ten pounds, he is about a year and a half, though I've had him since he was about 3-4 months old. He tolerates other humans for their food and attention-giving abilities, but I am his only true love.
Both cats get along wonderfully, and seem to have a sibling relationship. They will wrestle and play-fight and occasionally groom each other. Although, Loki seems to be getting tired of giant-kitten Romeo throwing his weight around!
My newest additions are Jynx and Tabitha, two poly-dactyl sisters, about 7 months old. I am fostering them out of my home for a local rescue organization, and I couldn't be happier! Both kittens have adjusted extremely well. Jynx (the black kitten) likes to follow Romeo around like a little shadow, while Tabitha loves up on Loki. My two are both perfect gentleman to the sisters, grooming them and playing with them. Jynx has an extra "thumb" on her front paws, while her sister Tabitha has an extra toe on each of her back paws and 4 extra toes on each of her front ones!
