Hi guys

First time posting on here go easy on me :p

My cat is a one year old and recently I have noticed that he is always holding his paw off the ground when he is sitting. It rests on the floor a lot flatter than his other paw also and quite frankly it looks quite odd!

When I have played with it he seems to be in no discomfort and seems to be able to run and climb fine. Sometimes I think he is limping on it but I'm not sure if I am convincing myself?!

So I'm not sure if he has injured it and it's healed funny, it's a cat thing or I am plain imagining it..

I have attached some photos and I hope I've done it right. Your opinions and experience would be greatly appreciated.

That looks concerning to me. I have seen that a few times, but I don't know if the cat had an injury to it or not. Maybe it is a common location for an injury? What concerns me the most is how you mention he favors it. That is most definitely a sign of injury. I mean, we can tell you all day whether or not he has something going on here, but it's best to take him to the vet to have a professional opinion. I hope you both the best!

That's very interesting.  I would definitely talk to the vet about it.
