My name is Kayleigh, I'm 24 and live in a house in Durham with my fiancé and 3 kitties
Tabitha (approx 2 years)
Heather (approx 2 years)
& Bella (approx 9 months)
I adopted Tabitha & Heather last year in May we had just moved into a little 2 bed flat and wanted a cat but when we saw this pair and how much they had been through together we couldn't separate them, then this year we bought a 3 bed house and decided we had the room to give another poor kitty a good home so in May again we went back to the shelter and spotted Bella's sweet little face peering out at us. I knew immediately she was the one and sure enough it took her just 3 weeks to fully settle in and begin to bond with the others and now they are best friends & I couldn't imagine not have little Bella around =]
They all have very different personalities
Tabitha is the diva of the household, when we first got her she strutted round like she owned the place and you would think she had been there her whole life not 5 minutes!! she will immediately roll onto her back when people come to visit to get her tummy scratched, she will also decide sometimes that she wants fuss but doesn't want the effort of jumping up so will sit and stare at you until you pick her up!!
Heather is the quiet one, she was painfully shy when we first got her and used to hide in drawers and cupboards, we left her to it and didn't try and force her out and eventually she came out of her shell but she is still a peaceful soul and can often be found in the quietest room in the house asleep on the bed! She is also a big mommy's girls and can be very needy if I'm at home
And that just leaves Bella, she is your typical mischievous little tortie kitten!! Into everything if you have a big/box she has to be in it. EVERYTHING is a toy she's like a little whirlwind of energy and playfulness constantly on the prowl for her next victim haha but like Heather she is still a mummy's girl and when she's worn herself out she will seek me out and curl up in a little purry heap on my lap
So those are my 3 girls and they all have their own part to play in out happy little family =]
I wouldn't change them for the world =]
I'm looking forward to being a part of thecatsite community!!
