It's always better to be paranoid then to wait and find out you have a big problem. It's good you posted when you did.

I don't know about cats eating things but if you ever have a dog that swallows a whole pigs ear, a roll of bubble tape and a pair of underpants, I'm the one to go to. :) (and he wasn't even 10 lbs)

Oh goodness, How does your dog even do that??? haha

what happen when your dog ate all those things? I know Monkey just ate a couple of tiny earrings, so I can imagine the process will be a lot easier for her.. but did he just pass them normally? or did he have to have surgery to get them out?

We had to find him a new home because he tormented our cat. I only knew about the gum and since some gum is toxic to dogs I brought him to the vet. They had him puke it up to be safe and to our surprise out came the other stuff. I have no idea how he got that down but I'm so glad he ate that gum or we wouldn't have known to bring him in. He was cute but he was a handful. :)

My family used to have a toy poodle we had to rehome. He was the cutest thing but he Pooped and Peed everywhere and we couldn't control it (we had him for 4 years). some little dogs are tough :/

Well I'm glad he turned out ok, and I'm sure he is in a happy home :)
I'm hoping these little earrings will just Pass. I think its too late to try to have her vomit it up.. I Actually think she ate them the other night. So it's been way past 24 hours now. I'm expecting to find them sometime today :/

If not it may be time for a vet visit this weekend..

She is actually doing much better today! :) she's been very vocal this morning wanting me to play with her before I left for class, she also woke me up before my alarm went off.
Though I do have another problem now :/
She is behaving much like normal, playful and energetic, but I think she may have eaten a couple of my earrings yesterday (just 2 studs nothing big and fancy)....  I did post in the health section about it, I am going to check her poo later today when I get home (though I am hoping that I will find them elsewhere before I do that).
I am going to be watching her very closely until I either find them, or until she gives me a sign that something is going wrong in her tummy... :/

I'm Starting to think that my original post was just me being a worried, paranoid  mother. But now I really do have a bit of a problem...
That IS one of the major concerns with kittens....they are so curious about everything, they end up eating inappropriate things.  Dexter ate a few inches of cotton string off his toy...I was hovering over him for days watching for any clues he was sick.  Thankfully, he produced string-laden poop.

And you are not the only one that worries at the drop of a hat!

Maybe you should call around the different vets in your area to see if you can find one sympathetic to the plight of a poor college student - one that might work out a payment plan?

I live in a Small College town, over half the population leaves over the summer because they are all students lol
I'll have to see if there are any College student friendly Vets around, I never really thought of it before but since there are so many students here, there has to be at least one that caters to the poor college student lol
I Really love my vet back at home, they are very affordable and they are really there to help the animals (I have had some bad experiences with vets that seem to only after the money), but that is 3 and a half hours away..

Why couldn't she have waited till Winter break to eat something of mine??!! lol

Would your regular vet be open to a reasonably-priced phone consultation?  At the very least, you might get a definite "yes, she needs to be seen by the vet because here are some things that MIGHT be going on..."?

So it's been a few days now, I have not seen my earrings, but she is completely back to her old self. running around and being crazy at times. New thing she has been doing, is shes been meowing at me when she wants me to play with her. Always while I am in the middle of homework lol
But I am not worried about her anymore, she may or maynot have eaten my earrings, and if she did it is not effecting her in the slightest.
I wanna thank you all for the support and insight, and for not making me feel like I am overreacting.

No worries - I was just thinking about your kitty today and wondering how she was.   It must be terribly stressful to have school on top of it all too.  Glad to hear she's ok!

I helped put The Boyfriend through school.  He told me that all throughout it, Houdini (RIP) would plant himself right on top of his textbook - as if to say:  "You don't need to study this physics crap - just take a nap/"

Yup, just like that.  "You don't need no stinkin' psych class - you just need to pet me"!
