I rescued 5 kittens from a farm where they weren't fed very well, if at all, so I thought they'd be okay switching to other food. Either they aren't, or they've had diahrrea for a long time. No matter what I try to introduce to them their stomachs show little to no difference. They were weaned quite abruptly because I had no choice. I had to choose between leaving them to the wild and cold or taking them and risking their health. I risked their health because if I hadn't, they'd more than likely dead! I have a 4 week old who weighs less than a pound... they all have access to food 24/7 and are starting to put on some weight! I could resort to feeding all of them but they don't mind eating food. Are they lacking something in their diet to help with the diarrhea? What could I feed them to help? The vet mentioned some food specially for things like this, but forgot to give me a sample. Not all of them are dewormed quite yet, but will be soon. The dewormed ones tend to have even more upset tummies. Does anyone know what I could do? Please help. I feel horrible knowing they have upset tummies all the time.
