My cats get Whisker Lickins. They are probably not the best but Peanut loves them and he's not allergic to them and Angel doesn't like treats that much. We know Peanut has a food allergy but we don't know what it is to so I seldom try new foods or treats.

General rule of thumb, don't buy anything that is advertised on the TV hundreds of times a day. Especially when it comes to food products. I couldn't tell you which treats are the best, but I'll tell you Friskies ain't no where close.

Currently using Acana Regionals cat products. Pacifica Cat and Kitten, Grasslands Cat and Kitten.. and we mix this with another dry food product of which I forget the name atm. The cattery was using this product and said good things, from what I see on their site 'at a glance' they look like a good company. But as always do your own research. =)

Our manx kitten.. And very cute calico you have!

That is the cutest cat I have ever seen! Oh my goodness! Your manc makes me want to go and get one right now! I don't know about the food though. Also organic food and treats would be best. No pestisides or by product meal. I love yout cat!!!!!!!

My cats get Whole Life Chicken, chicken gizzards, necks, thighs, Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried Raw, and freeze-dried green tripe as treats.

My two cats are: Lox (my profile picture), and Bagel (shown below), Both are moggies/mutts, and I love them to bits.

To answer your question - yes, I would think the treats I listed are healthy... As long as your cat is not allergic to them! Whole Life Chicken is one ingredient, chicken in this case. Gizzards, thighs, and necks I feed raw (check out the Raw Feeding section for more information), and green tripe is filled with probiotics... It smells though. The Stella & Chewy is not a single ingredient treat, it's actually a balanced freeze-dried raw food that you moisten with water. I actually feed it more as treats though, because I do not need to worry about unbalancing meals.

Plain old meat is the healthiest treat you can give. The only commercial treats I give are PureBites which only has one ingredient(freeze dried chicken, shrimp, or beef liver). Aside from that I make my own dehydrated treats out of leftover meat/fish

My mom bought several packages of temptations cat treats awhile ago but I ended up throwing them out. I'm just not keen on feeding such carb-heavy foods, even as a treat.

My kitten has Whisker Lickins, Pounce and freeze dried treats like Purebites (etc.) And an occasional salt free sardine, egg or meat.
