Again, water is her main source. I gave her some food, she ate a piece or 3 then refused. Is this nautral? She is plenty heathy, had all vaccinations and shots, and blood tested for feline lukima. ( she does not have feline lukima, thank goodness!) And was dewormed twice. No panting, just sleep.
Everywhere I read said that is normal 48hrs to a few hours before labor starts. But you already know it's going to be any day or any hour now so that doesn't help much I guess!
No, that helps alot! I didn't know that! So thats why she is neglecting her usaul hordes of food, and turning twords water? It was like that last night! I still don't wanna say it will be tonight. I already made that mistake! Ha ha ha
Is the litter box nearby? Only you may find she will go for several poo's on the day she is in labour, it's as if she is making room for the babies to come out.
Ginny wouldn't let me go anywhere either. She would follow me everywhere. And Fuss, omg did she want fuss, which she wouldn't let you fuss or cuddle her before. Then after she had the babies she seemed a bit distant again but since she was "done" in August she follows me again.
She is not allowed outside at ALL. She mostly likes to stay in my room. Is it okay that I shut the door? All she does is sleep. She is licking back end anf belly longer then normal. Not her nether parts yet.
I think she is fine and doing perfectly! I'm pretty sure cats stop eating for a couple days up tonjust a few hours before labor.. So it's normal, could be any day now. Just depends on the cat (I've read some even eat right up to the moment though!) I have a feeling she will wait until day 65 to have those babies, it seems she likes to keep you guessing! Animals are born to have babies and for the most part just know what to do. I'm sure she isn't stressed or anxious. It doesn't seem like you have much in our house that would be stressing her out...You on the other hand...
