I was wondering if your kitty had her babies yet! Either way, it sounds very close! My cat is acting different (granted I only had her for a month so I don't know her THAT well.) But she is meowing at me and she rarely ever meowed and she just seems more needy and also just checking out corners and places to hide. She jumped out our window the other day when I briefly opened the screen! I jumped out after her and scooped her up, what a scare! I feel like this is the week but she likes to prove me wrong and do the opposite of what I want.(Such as sleeping ON the birthing box I set up, not in it!)she is just getting so big. I am feeling movement again but not much, I don't think she is carrying many despite how enormous she is.

Anyway, hope all goes well with your kitty please update us when you can! Good luck!

She did a full lick, meaning all over. but is licking her privite, end of the back, belly and back legs. She is now licking front. Her butt/private area is wet looking. I have some scraps of soft blankets, and she is in the middle. She was pacing, her back end uncomfortable and looking like there was pressure. Also herpuke from before was bubbly and had yellow laced on the ouy side. She just turned around. So tiered, but to eager to sleep :) :) :)

Her milk came out. A little bead of milk, so I am guessing really early tomorrow, like maybe 1 am or 2 am. Just a matter of time. Can't sleep :(

Kittycatlovemew, PLEASE calm down, I read that you are new to all of this, but if you keep stressing about every little thing, it will transmit it self to your cat and make her stressed. Nobody can tell exactly when a cat is due to go into labour but from my experience when mine had kittens one of the signs is that it looks like she is trying to have a poo, but not in the litter tray. Her rear end will go to the floor and she will appear to try and push. Mine did this in the middle of the floor and I gently picked her up and places her in the nesting box and sat next to her stroking her and talking quietly to her, within half hour she had the 1st of 6 kittens and the whole process took 3 1/2 hours. Do try to stay calm.

She is licking her back end and her legs. She s pacing aroung chirping, but she jumped on top of the nesting box. It's kinda like her groaning a tiny. She keeps jumping around, the reason I am so worried is because she is young, and small. I want to see that there is not any serious bad things. I have no clue. Little exersize, alittle meowing, otherwise okay :)

I stoped completely worring, but she seems close. Kittens are further down then they have been ever. She is nesting and she has milk for the last week or so. It seems soon. :)

So sleepy. In the scrap nest she is most happy, but it wouldn't be enough for kittens. I will watch for pushing, and put her in the real nesting box. :) (I calmed down too. Sorry I was acting craxy. Just really alarmed, not that experienced :)

I have a question: id a pregnet cat supposed to be all over you an hour or so before labor starts? Or do some cats do nothing at all, just act like themselves. My first pregnet cat was all over you. Do all cats not eat? She goes to her food area, but doesn't eat. She had a couple bites, then sat t here watching me pet her and she purred like mad. She is around 62 days, and I heard that gestation can be from 60-65 days. Is that true?

Again, she only ate a few bites. She is acting like there is not enough room. She is sleeping the day away! She only made 1 attemp to get out, so I took her to the litterbox plus food. I even left the door open for 10 minutes or more, and she didn't even leave! I have food and water set up. Not the litterbox though. I guess this will be the hardest time to wait out. She let me massage near her bottom, like there was pressure there. I am prepared, and I will try not to freak out. I looked up some homemade stress relivers, but I don't have lavender. She seems stress free away from my dogs, grooming herself like always.

I gave her diluted water with chamamile. I have an hour of classical kitty music on. She is so relaxed. Took her to the litterbox to.

She is in utter bliss. She eagerly drank the chamamile and water. She is really relaxed and happy. So am I :) I made the water hot so that chamamile was in the air. Ahhhhh. She loves it. She is completely asleep. She was purring like crazy. Happy is she :) :) ahhh

i am leaving her alone, and then i check on her. she is not eating any of the food i give her. she is sleepy, relaxed, and completly stress free
. do cats conserve there energy to give birth? she liked it when i stroked her belly, which she never liked me to do. i am keeping my cool and letting her do her own thing. is it okay i am giving her chamamile and water mixed together? it seemed to help her calm down and relax. i put a towl, then some soft fabric on top of that. she is sleeping there now. i am happy to help her. she is super content and happy. i step in my room and she starts purring right away. happy, happy, happy. she still likes it when i massage her bottom. how far would the kittens be away from her legs to her birthing area? i can not say it will be tonight. i had already made that mistake! ha ha ha!

She was hungary enough to eat a bout a small handful. She just finished. She is eating 3 times less than usual. She ate 4 super tiny meals. Probaly only a mouthful. I feed her whenever she wantsit, I assure you. she Iis still sleepy. She got up for food, so thats when I gave it to het. That was the 4rth meal. She ate two small piles the size of two quarters. Not much at all. She is not disturbed by me at all :)
