I am currently feeding Blue Buffalo Basics Grain-Free Turkey and Potato, a limited ingredient food. Despite some bad reviews that I have read about some of the Blue varieties, this food has worked wonders for my cat and kitten--no more puking or loose stools! I would like to have some other options though, in case they get tired of the food or it gets recalled or discontinued. I know that a lot of you probably feed only canned (please no canned versus dry debate!), but I would like to know if any of you have a favorite dry food that has worked for you. It has to be free of chicken, beef, fish, corn, wheat, soy, rice, dairy, and eggs. I want to maybe incorporate some canned in the future, but the vet has said to wait for now, and I don't want to upset my sensitive cats' systems when they are doing so much better. So, dry choices only for now, please!

By the way, the foods that they have tried and NOT done well on in the past are Iams, Royal Canin Gastrointestinal, Hill's W/D, and Blue Basics Fish and Potato. The cat did great on the Blue Fish and stopped vomiting like she had been doing on the other foods, but the kitten continued to have loose stools, like he had on the other foods. Switching to the grain-free version without rice cleared him up in a few days. He had been under a vet's care and medications for months!

I know one of the Wellness Core grain free dry is made with turkey and duck.  A lot of the drys also have chicken in them but the Wellness isn't supposed to have any chicken in it.  I know the Wellness canned is pretty good food.

Given the ingredients you need to avoid, I would recommend trying the Ziwipeak lamb or venison.

I have considered Wellness Core, but I was afraid it would be too rich. I have never heard of Ziwipeak. Is that something that is only available online?

Mt local natural pet store carries Ziwipeak and will order anything they don't normally carry, so it's worth asking around. It is available online as well.
