First, how disgusting it was to see a worm. Yuck. Doc gave me strongid to give to kitten to give two days in a row every week for our weeks. After the irst treatment I did see worms in the poo (again, very very gross). After the remaining treatments I didn't see any more worms. I just gave him the last dose that was prescribed and in a week or so I will have a fecal done but do you think these four weeks worth of doses has done the trick? I looked everywhere on the Internet for a detailed cyle of the roundworm that included how long they took to migrate and whatnot but I couldn't find anything. I know strongid only gets mature worms so I want to make sure I gave the ones that weren't mature enough time to do so and then get them with the strongid.

Really gros those worms. I never saw them before and was totally grossed out.

Worms are gross, I agree!  Usually it does take one or more treatments of dewormer to totally get rid of them, but I've never heard of doing it for 4 weeks.  Hopefully, the fecal will show no worms.

Usually strongid will do it in a couple of applications, so two days in a row four weeks in a row should be plenty.  But it's a safe drug and dosage is pretty flexible.
