What I woke up to

This morning I woke up to Carmella sitting in the middle of my bed bathing herself. She gets herself in the oddest positions, I just had to share!

Carmella is just THE most beautiful lady, no matter what positions she gets herself into. I LOVE her.

And to think the humane society in AZ almost killed her.... they said she was unadoptable. Thank God Liz rescued her so I could have her!

Yep, that is Carmella's story.

She's a bit of a moody girl but can be so entertaining! She doesn't like to be picked up but she loves to be pet and kissed. And she likes to be near me all the time. She lays by my head or in the middle of my bed. And when she looks at you with her huge, round eyes you just melt. I can't believe they were going to destroy her. Makes me shudder.

They said she was unadoptable because they had taken her to the mall to showcase her for adoption and all she did was hiss and swat at people. Poor baby was probably just scared.

Her fur is silky soft. I've never felt fur so soft and because of it she doesn't even get mats.

Carmella is a beautiful little lady. You have done a great job with her and she must have fallen in love with you. Remember when she wouldn't even come out of the room you had her in?

I always think that they are going to get stuck in some weird position they can't get out of when they groom - it doesn't look natural!

Boy do I remember! And now she follows me all over the house! She doesn't have to be in my lap but she likes to be in the same room. You know... I've never heard her meow. I've heard her purr and snort but never meow! Strange, huh?

In a week I'll be starting all over again with my 2 new babies, Hallie and Jake. I can hardly wait for them to get here. I hope I don't have to deal with Peaches going into depression again. That about killed me! It is worth it though.

Oh they are so cute! I love Hallie, she looks a little bit like Carmella. Jake seems to have the same coloring as Peaches and Henrietta. How are you going to handle five cats? I have problems with just Max. LOL Congratulations on your new family members.

droool I think I could just pick Carmella up (if she let me) and squish her and drown in her soft fur LOL!!! I always favored her because her colorings are soooo damn pretty!!! And I think she knows it LMAO!!!
