My Adorable Foster Kittens!

I have been doing TNR with a colony in a nearby shopping center. A few weeks ago I caught one who was very pregnant, and had her kittens overnight. Well I got the whole gang set up in a large crate, and mom has been doing a wonderful job taking care of them. I doubt mom is even a year old. Well anyways these little cuties are thriving.

I went with a fall theme for the names

Autumn

Amber

Scarlet

October... "Toby"

Pumpkin

When I first started doing the TNR there was one very pregnant female. She had her kittens somewhere and I never saw them till a week ago. I have successfully trapped all 4 now and am trying to socialize them. Two are coming around nicely. I don't have pictures of the other two yet, I just trapped them the other night and am trying to give them a little time to settle in.

So...just curious, is the mother of the first batch a Calico?  I have no idea how any of that works, but when I saw the first two kittens I figured she probably was.

They are all adorable! I love the photos! They are all so beautiful. I love the calicos, the pumpkins are both so funny (Scarlet and Pumpkin), Toby looks like a little bat with beautiful eyes and the little male in the last photo is surreal with that big ears and whiskers.

So cute! Autumn looks like she has huge eyes!!

Yup, mom of the little kittens is a calico. She is mostly dark like Amber. The older kittens mom is solid black though. I have a suspicion the dad is the same for both litters. As far as I am aware there are only 2 males. They look almost identical too. You have to know exactly what to look for to tell them apart. I have one of the two neutered so far at least, but he was not neutered at the time when both of them would have gotten pregnant.
