Most of our kitties have all lived to be in their twenties, so feeding them good food is important. Unless one has become ill needing special food, we've always fed our kitties a healthy diet of some wet and dry food daily. We keep fresh water and dry food on their feeding station all of the time. We feed ours Iams and give them treats as well as wet food twice daily. They're all healthy and happy, but most of all give them love as this is the most important thing that cats need along with food. Cats need hugs, petting and love as much as they do food.

May all of your kitties live happy and healthy to a ripe old age.

Wow!  All of them lived into their twenties.  You are a wonderful meowmy
.  My hat's off to you.

Were they also always kept indoors?  And, yes, I agree, they don't just need food, they need love, and plenty of attention too.  And grooming.
