Hi, my name is Robert

I have two kitties with this same problem

This problem didn't just start its been there for many years

*******GET HIM OFF OF ALL DRY KIBBLES*********

dry kibbles are the main cause of urinary crystals that block the urethra and cause

bloody urine

then infection and possibly a crystal forms around the bacteria in the bladder which cause him to leak

and pee all over

the more moisture in the food the better he will be

Cook his food for him

Beef sirloin strips

Check this out:

GET HIM OFF OF DRY FOOD KIBBLES, the dry kibbles are what cause the

crystals that block the urinary tract.

demineralized water the kind you use in your iron

*buy sirloin beef stir fry strips

*get the most fresh ones in the meat section l

*little brownish gray oxidation as possible

*cook it as soon as you get home

*boil water

*dip sirloin strips into boiling water 1 at a time

for 4 seconds,

*on the 5th second remove it from water

*the beef should be pinkish on the outside but

full of nutrition on the inside

*give this to him as the only food

*then you can start adding some other vitamins to his food

* I add nutritional yeast from the health food store, but you can get it

in a packaged form in some baking sections of food stores

*Better if it is enriched with B12

Enzymes from Pet Vitality.com

Hi Everyone,

I've got great news. Dev is almost completely back to health! There is no more leaking, he's urinating properly, however he is a bit constipated. We are giving him FortiFlora and a digestive aid, but I think his constipation is due to his system having been on strong medications for the better part of 2 months! Otherwise there are no more leaks since 2 days and he is eating a lot, plays , curious and mischievous. I woke up to a big, firm cat kiss this morning right between my eyes from Dev, just like old times. In fact it seems like he's kissing on us more than usual and we have bonded a lot more because of this ordeal.

Yes  Squeeker Thank you for the tip on making the cat food and getting him off dry kibble. We have put him permanently on wet food!! Thank you everyone for all your help. Dev and I couldn't have made it without you!!

SUPER update on Dev!!!:clap::clap: I am so relieved to hear this great news. You have done a great job with his care and I think you ALL are on the mend now. For the constipation, you can give him some plain canned pumpkin - about 1/2 tsp. to start and see how that goes. I use Libby's plain pumpkin. You can divide up the can into those small storage containers and freeze them. Only keep the one container in the fridge for about three days or so. It can spoil, so only prepare up the containers enough for three to five days at a time. Some kitties love the stuff and will lick it off your finger. Other's not so much and you may have to gently syringe some into his mouth. But, that will help move things along. Once daily. You can work up to 1 TBSP or more, if needed. That will make him feel more comfortable. There are other remedies (natural) as well and you can even talk to your vet about using Miralax. Give Dev a big scritch for me!!! :rub:

Hi my name is Jessica posting my name as #DiegoJames

( my kitten's name)  ( full story about him on my 1 and only tread I have  if interested) I'm thinking that learning how to potty train my previous cat Scamper will help you. Scamper has a little bit of a different story than your little guy. Scamper was kinda mentally challenged. He constantly peed on my clothes, blankets, rugs, etc, and I didn't know what to do. My dad when I was about 6 or so always brought in strays at our house. Reminding my self of that I asked about advice. He said to be strict but, not to much so in a stern voice when Scamper did that is said no but, did not hit him. It seemed to work! I also reminded him where his litter box was by pointing and he did learn! That cat was my cat when I was 8 though!

I've also heard of using ice cube trays or wax paper to freeze portions, then store in freezer baggies (for portioning things like food, pumpkin, etc).

Great news that your kitty is better!!

THank you again everyone. Dev is doing fine, still healing up. His function is slowly getting better and better, every one in a while there is still an accident but he really tries to be clean and is a sweet cat. Very thankful you all helped us with him.
