I did a forum search and the results that came up for Cat's Pride litter was only for the light and fresh regular formula (or are all the CP litters paper?) I was at Safeway cruising the pet isle for anything I DON'T need and saw the CP 100% recycled paper litter. The reason this litter stood out to me, was b/c the paper was turned into pebbles (for lack of better term) instead of being your typical pellet or big lumpy paper litter. It actually looked like clay litter! I wish I would have had a chance to feel it to see if the picture on the bag was accurate. It came in a fairly small bag, I want to say 10 lbs and was $10! So that comes out to DOUBLE what I pad for Precious Cat. However, if anyone has had good luck with it, I might have to give it a try. Maybe you need less of the paper in the box? I'm looking for an unscented litter that tracks less than CP. Thanks!

Just saw your message while trying to find some place I can GET this litter for what I paid at Pet Supplies Plus when I lived in SC.  I am now living in NC and there is no store nearer than 100 miles that carries it.  Amazon offers it at double the price!  We all love it, but not that well.  This is truly granular, like most scoopable clay litters.  It works best if you let urine "set up" for a few hours. It does not clump as quickly as clay.  And if poop stays in the box 2 days it becomes little white calcified chunks.  Really dries it out.  It totally blocks odor and I change the entire box about once a month, just on general principles.  Never have a urine odor.  And I feel really good about supporting recycling and not mining more clay.  Hope you have tried this and like it as well as I.  Now I may just have to make a trip to SC to get some more for myself.
