Very yellow pee,  sounds like she is deydrated-  this  will  add  to her being  weak  and  seemingly uninterested.

You  tried already  with  the glucose,, some results but  not much.  Is  she warm  enough?

Try  again with more water,  at all costs.   She  will go down otherwise.

If she doesnt  drink self,  a  vet  must try and give her  fluid  with an injection.

I you dont have a vet, you  may  perhaps  find  a   human nurse who can inject  some useful fluid.  Its  desperation now!

Good  luck!   vibes!

I have her laying in my chest under a blanket.

Im giving her water thru a old washed food.coloring bottle. She doesn't really want it. She meows, and tries to move and crawl but its like her left side isn't working that well...

I don't have a vet and idk anyone who does injections

Am I reading off the situation right? So it seems it is just to await the end now.

Give her the comfort and human warmth you can, massage some as comforting (mom licking), keep her lips wetted, make soft crooning sounds, sing if you wish, and wait...

Im deep sorry.

So you dont have a dropper?  Try with something else than,  like a drinking straw, givning her several drops at a time, at the cheek.  It may be easier.   And as said,  massage hee too.   If you manage to give her water, there may still be some hope.

Good this with  laying at the chest,  both  for trying to rescue, and for the last wait...

I believe she may have parvo. Her brother had almost all of the symptoms... So I'm thinking thats what she may have.. Which means my 4 yr old cat might get it...

Parvo is actually an illness that only affects dogs. The feline equivalent is distemper, also known as panlukeopenia. It is an unfortunatley common illness in young kittens, and it's very possible you are right and they did contract it.

The other strong possibility for these kittens is FIP. This is sort of like human infant SIDS in that the cause is unknown and seemingly healthy kittens just crash.

While I hate to be the bearer of bad news, it's unlikely you will ever know the cause as both are pretty fatal. The silver lining however, is that if either is the case you did nothing wrong, and there is very little you could have done to prevent it. Really all you can do is keep trying to give the little girl fluids and food. But, if she's not taking them just do your best to comfort her as she passes from this world to the next, knowing you did everything you could and gave her a home which is more than so many get.

As far as your adult cat goes, so long as s/he is up to date on vaccines they should be fine, as feline distemper is included in almost all standard vaccinations and FIP is a kitten specific illness. That said, keep a very close eye these next few days and if you see any signs of illness get them to a vet ASAP.It is fair to assumethe kittens have one of these illnesses and that your cat is not in danger but always err on the side of caution and seek medical help if there is any doubt!

I'm so sorry you are going through this and I know how painful it is. Just keep doing the best you can and know you have done so much more than most would. Thank you for loving them in the short time they have had here!

Oh yes, as long as she drinks, little by little  is entirely OK if you give it often enough.  This way is not so seldom making  the trick.   Pedialyte is good, and really better than common water here..  Good you found this.   :)

If you dont have a bought ready made pedialyte, you can make own home made basic pedialyte from dextrose or honey, and kitchen salt.  15-18 grammes dextrose, 3 grammes salt, 1 litre water.   Works for cats and humans.

Now she may have a chance, if there is any chance at all.   Having some of the above mentioned diseases makes the prospects pessimistic...  Although some do survive getting good care. There are always someone who does.

*vibes!*

ps.  IF this is what is called for distemper, it is quite contagious.  The most contagious of all these feared cat diseases.

Beware of meeting other cats the nearest weeks, as you are now a  contagion bearer!  Wash of hands, etc...  Best is if you go out, you use shoes and clothes you didnt had on you inside...

I dont know how long the germs survive on their own.  Probably not so long, otherwise it would be unstoppable.

But they do survive some time on their own, and can be carried home on your shoes or clothes.

If your resident is vaccinated, he should manage.  Or at least, get it in a milder, manageable version.

- So find this cheap yet good vet...

Good luck!

Shes been cold so I made crocheted her a blankie and a matching sweater. She just had really bad explosive diarrhea, which.thankfully i was holding her over the trash can, and she wasn't wearing her sweater yet. But come Monday i have to go back to work and i have no one to take care of her while i am gone. So i am fearful that she will die.

I absolutely love cats. And i hate seeing them suffer. It really breaks my heart...

Pedialyte, commercial or homemade basic pedialyte, is also a weapon against diarrheas, not just the dehydration as such.  For example,  basic pedialyte made locally on place was THE weapon against the manslaughter cholera, drawing the death ratio from 80+% to -10%.  Alone, just together with caretaking by family or friends.

A recipe used in South East Asia  rice countries, is,

You use water from well overcooked  rice.  This water contains much glucose.

1 tea spoon (3 grammes) salt!  1 litre water/rice water.

If you can get minerale kitchen salt, containing  Na, K, Mg, Ca +  Cl, its the best. Getting her back electrlytes she loses in this watery diarrhea.    Otherwise the most common kitchen salt, with just Na Cl, is also OK.

Well cooked rice is used also otherwise in many other receipts to stop diarrheas.

If you want to use the standard homemade basic pedialyte, the recipe is:

1,5-2 soupspoons (15-18 grammes) of dextrose (=glucose sugar) best,   or honey if you dont have it.

1 tea spoon (3g) of kitchen salt - look above

a trifle of   Natrium bi karbonate (=baking soda) if you have it, but not necessary....

This homemade basic pedialyte is maybe even better than the ready made, at least for cats.

Can you take the kitten with you to your job?  Phone your superior  now, beg and ask.

*vibes!*

No I've asked before the kittens were even sick. But some people are allergic to cats and little calico isn't aloud there...

Her pee is back to dark yellow, and she still is having some diarrhea. She also now frail again and you can feel all her bones. She is miserable. I hate seeing her suffer like this.

I just read through this thread. Sounds to me that she is dying, and it's been 2 days now, she likely passed.

The saddest part of this thing is, the op really wanted to save them, but without proper training or experience, it could have been as simple as holding in the proper position while feeding, or a better formula.

I am certain however that the temperature was likely an issue. How sweet but sad that she crocheted a little sweater for her, but not realizing that they do not hold their body temp until at least 3 weeks old, and without a heating pad to regulate, they will become room temperature. Organs can not function, formula can not be processed.

OP, your efforts are heartfelt, and I am sorry for the way this turned out for you hon. I know it must hurt badly now.

It is not your fault, there is/was a time for all of us, to learn things the hard way.

You did what you thought was right, and best.

Sounds heart breakingly bad. Sweet little kittens taken from a cruel world from only one savior on earth to care about there dying lives was you. You were the one person to carrase them in your hand, give hope even when things went wrong. You are a true hero to help, even if they didn't survive. You made the effort to change there fate.thank you for trying. It was all you could give and all that you know. I hope that you will continue to help any living creature as you did for theses young kittens. Tears will be shed in the loss of the lives they never got to live, but you helped them through it. Also for any one else who did this, you are all heroes to. I never had a bottle baby, but have a 6 week old orphan who is now almost 8 months old.

Every time an animal dies, it finds the rainbow bridge. they run up the bridge and join the others and run and play. But every once and a while, a animal will stray from the others. They will look down to see you, and remember all the times shared toghther. Then one day you will meet up and once again you will carress there head once more. To spend eternity together, happy once more. Pets leave paw prints in our heart forever. Remember this. You will always love them and they will always love you. I hope one day you will meet the kittens again and be happy and not sad. I understand. I never got much of a chance with my cat. Either did you. Ialways sung for my cat, until she died when we tried to get her fixed. She was a kind stray in need of a home. Forever hold them peace.
