transport help needed for diabetic cat at risk- OH to MO 10/19?-10/26?

PLEASE SHARE. Ground transport help needed for a one-day transport from Dayton OH to Rolla MO. This is for Penelope, an insulin-dependent diabetic at high risk of PTS. The transport will likely occur this weekend (October 19 or 20) or next weekend (October 26 or 27). This link -- http://goo.gl/maps/erSwF -- shows the route. Have you gotten any help with the transport? I'm on the wrong side of the country, but know some people in the St. Louis area who might be able to help. A lot depends on the timing and their schedules.

You might try contacting Best Friends Animal Society.  They have a huge network of volunteers who drive and form a network across the country.  I have donated things to them before and they used the network to get the items to Best Friends in Utah.  They use the same network for transporting animals.  Best Friends Animal Society Animal Transport Resources .  Good luck!

thanks so much for the suggestions, they got enough people to do this transport but I will pass that info along as they do many transports each year.
Not sure I've heard them mention that organization so they may not know about it (this transport was done thru diabetic cats in need DCIN)
