Hey, they already have Shark Week on TV, why not Naughty Kitty Week?
I've been sewing a silk 18th Century gown for some Halloween parties. Even though I have a sewing room, I prefer to work downstairs, in the dining room--I can watch TV that way.
Yesterday, I spent 14 hours straight, sewing--nothing was going right.
I have the dress on a dress form. Who knew that an 18th C. skirt could also double as a cat tent? AND, it can also be used for cover when ambushing cats AND humans!
Every time I went upstairs to get stuff, I'd hear a crash. There goes Big Bertha, the dress form! I think she must have a drinking problem--the gal simply can't stand up. I mean, the cats wouldn't knock her over, right?
Today, I dropped a needle between the sofa cushions, and it was like discovering treasure: a seed packet, a weird Halloween ring, with a gargoyle's face (I never knew I owned it!), a knitting needle (I don't knit), and a miniature perfume bottle. My cats would never, ever play with those things!
I had my 18th C. wig on the table. I heard Marge covering something up. I hope the wig is hand-washable--I don't think they had Eau de Cat Pee perfume back then.
