nutro?

Seems like a lot of people like this brand, but the second ingredient in nutro max is corn gluten meal. And the first is chicken meal. Isn't that a lot like kitty chow? So why all the praise? Been wondering about this for a while, if anyone has any info that would be great!

There are different versions. The ones that get praise around here is the Nutro Naturals line.

And...we might be talking about canned, not the dry version.

I feed my male cat Nutro Natural Choice wet canned cat food in the minced and sliced flavors. There is no corn gluten in them. NCC wet canned cat food is all grain free.

I wouldnt feed this food. My dog was put on it and started to vomit bile 3 times a day. Thought nothing of it. Put my other dog in it she to started to bile vomit daily. Had blood work run on her (was totally healthy before nutro) and her liver was failing. Took her off Nutro, everything was back to normal. Took my other one off, everything back to normal and no more bile vomits.

Google Nutro complaints, you will see I wasnt the only one having issues with their food.
