Marvin, the orphaned kitten

I rescued 4 orphaned kittens back in August, that had to be bottle fed for while, and as of Saturday, the 3rd kitten left for it's forever home!

Kitty #4 would be my sweet Marvin, who is absolutely the sweetest cat I have ever met! - this coming from a person who prefers dogs!

Well, Marvin must have been the runt in the bunch because he has been the smallest one from the get go, and he had a lot of health issues. When I first got him, he couldn't poop, his eyes were all crusty and stuck together.. getting him to eat was so hard at time. Took him longer to learn to eat soft food, and he was even the last to understand playing. But I babied him so much, that he loves being cuddled! He's in my lap as I type this.

As his fur grows in fuller, you will not see sop much of the lighter undercoat, so it will appear darker when fully grown back, but it may not go as dark as it was prior.

VERY typical runt behavior, all of it. Slower to learn play/eating, etc.

He will catch up though. Funny, I've even seen the runt grow up and be bigger than their siblings!

Yes, I'm definitely keeping him! He has a cat tree in the mail!

He looks a little odd now with a dark head and light colored body.

I figured it would match up some, but it's taking it's time growing in. lol
