Taking a moment to bring awareness and promote this all important day as you all well know it is. Alley Cat Allies was the first national feral cat advocacy organization and are the ones who created this very special day back in 2001. Those who dedicate their days and nights to helping and caring for feral cats are hero's, to say the least. This world needs so many, many more people like yourselves to step up and do something if even just talking about TNR - bringing attention to the only way that truly works in controlling the feral cat population. There are many organizations throughout the country and would love to hear from you, hear your stories and commend you for the work you do. For those who want to get started, please contact one of your local TNR orgs. in your area, I am sure they would love to have the help. There is such a need in this all-important effort and it takes a village in some situations and in other's just one can make a world of difference. Help spread the word by beginning the conversation with someone and get the ball rolling on behalf of all the feral cat's.
