Just found this site last night while looking for ideas for cat runs.  I see there are alot of  ideas which I love.  I am a mommy to 9 rescued cats.  It's true,  they are like potatoe chips.  You can't have just one. lol.  A beautiful Siamese showed up at our houseand we learned he has AIDS.  His name is Sammy.  We currently have him indoors but we have two other indoor cats so he really needs to be in his own space.  We want to build him a nice, big cattery so he has plenty of room to roam around outside and also have an indoor space during the winter months.  I'm somewhat conflicted with caging him up but don't know what else to do with him.  He's a sweetheart.  He's in my office and sits on my lap while I work.  For some reason, our female does not like him.

Looking forward to chatting with everyone on this site.  I love anything and everything cats.  BTW, I do have two rescued dogs as well.  I love all animals.

9 :) Very interesting stories, tnx.

I rescued 2 cats until now,  one had a broken leg and we did amputation. Betty recovered completely and now she is active and happy cat, living in a garden  (im in flat).  The other one Pearl was 3m old, pure white, with fluffy tail, vet said she is Siamese and T. Angora cross. She was the best soul i have ever seen, so sweet and loving. Few days after the vaccination she got ill and vet said she will soon die and we cant do anything..

Then I took Alexander (on the profile pic) but he is nothing like Pearl, he never purrs or  wants hugs.. I miss Pearl so much.. My sweet baby girl <3

Welcome krigg. Sammy found the right house didn't he!!! They soon get used to being indoors only. It's not like you will put him in a cage and forget about him. We have enclosed our verandah with cat netting. Our cats love to look out at the birds and catch bugs. They have plenty of toys to keep them occupied. I recommend cat netting. I'm fussy about how my house looks but it really is hardly noticeable, it's super strong and it's so easy to install.
