My elderly neighbour has a lovely black cat called buttons shes a short hair and absolutely gorgeous now when we moved in buttons was very slight and approachable I had handled her many times she was light and very small. Now a week ago my neighbours cat got into my flat she was roaming the corridor and followed my partner in when he came home from work she hid under our bathroom sink and hissed now she was about double her size and not at all aproachable I had to herd her out of our flat as she looked like she was going to attack our Lilly. Because of her size and the fact that about just under a month ago she went missing for a while I am wondering if she may well be pregnant.

Ah, she is almost surely pregnant.  If they girls are unspayed, and allowed to go out, you dont need to guess thrice what usually happens. One wondering is, if she got lost earlier too and get mated for two months ago, as they arent very much bigger after barely a month.

The question is, if she wanted to find a place for birth, ie, if she by any reason didnt felt welcome to give birth in her own home at the neigbours.    High pregs moms are often anxious to please themselves in, but sometimes they get instead extra protective and defensive.

I would be grateful to you, if you looked at this matter, as soon as practically possible.  Talked with neigbours (phone them in so is), and held your eyes and ears open.

Perhaps even did granted her a safe haven for her and her kittens, in her time of need.

Tx for caring!

Good luck!

I will try and speak to the old lady as her daughter got her the cat when her husband passed on so I dont think she would be to kind to me taking in her cat and at the moment my own little girl is very poorly recovering from her op to set her leg I'll keep my eyes and ears open though and see how she does.
