I have two kittens, 1 is 8 wees old today the other (the orange one) I was told was 10 weeks. He refuses to eat dry food, canned food and when I offer my finger he tries to suck it (gross). He inhales cat milk (whiskas) and if I mix it with canned food he eats it fine. How do I wean him or is he just being picky? Heres a couple pics of both kittens (the orange one isnt eating kibble/canned just the brown tabby is).

I think it's fine to continue adding the KMR to the wet food for him.  You could also add half the amount of milk and then add half the amount of water.  He probably likes that it's more liquidy than chunky.

My male kitty the same was told he was 8 weeks but he's so tiny. He will only eat wet food mixed with whiskas milk, he also sucks my finger. He's also had runny poo but always in the litter tray. This is my first kitten so glad I got him he's so adorable.

As long as it's for kittens, it's okay.  Just don't feed him cow's milk.  In a pinch, you can use goat's milk, though.

The cat milk box says for adults and weaned kittens.

I swear by Royal Canin for Baby Cats. It is a slightly pricey kibble in very tiny bits. I tried many of the kitten foods while weaning and that was the favorite by far. My last bunch was just under four weeks when they started gobbling it up totally dry. Before that, I used a blender for a while crushing up kitten kibbles and then make it soupy. Very messy until they figure out it's actually food. In my opinion, if the base kibble is really good, the milk is not necessary. Soupy with water is good stuff. But the RC kibble works well. I think they need to learn what 'food' smells like.

My two came home at 11 weeks and enjoyed some KMR for a couple weeks.  Their mother was also at the shelter up for adoption; but in a different kennel so I don't know when they were separated from her.  I gave them the KMR along side their kibble and they seemed to "get it" after that.

I have used Royal Canin baby cat in the past when Tumbles was a kitten.  They have a product called Instinctive that is for weaning kittens.  http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4058796   They also have a kitten dry food that has very small pieces of kibble that are easier for kittens to eat.
I went to petsmart and bought 2 cans of the baby cat instinctive I think is what it was called. I mixed it with 1 tablespoon of canned to 1/2 tablespoon of whiskas milk he inhaled it. Then I offered more without the milk and he ate it!

Good job!!  You're such a great Meowmy to this little guy.
I am going to buy a few more cans providing my petstore sells it. I drove across town to petsmart to these ones. He goes to the vet at 5pm for vaccines. The first time I did 1 tablespoon canned to 1/2 tablespoon milk. Then half table spoon of just canned. He ate both those. Then I did 1 tablespoon of canned mixed with 5 pieces of kibble and a drop of milk. Then repeated again and he ate everything.

If your local store doesn't carry it, talk to them about ordering it for you.  If that doesn't work, you can always order it online.  We get our canned food online from Pet Food Direct.

I am in Canada, there are no stores to order online here if there is shipping is really high. The pet store near me doesnt carry that baby cat but they do carry the kitten instinctive. Do you think I could buy a few cans of the instinctive kitten instead of the baby cat to try?
