I have three medium sized dogs and recently got two kittens who are approximately 7 months old now. I'm wondering what cat toys would be safe and not get destroyed by our dogs. Thanks!

Honestly, I just let the cats play with the dog toys we have lol. We do have cat toys but keep them in areas where the dogs don't go or we pick them up when the cats are done with them since our dogs will eat them.

Our cats love those cheap fuzzy colored mouses that come in like a 8 pack, they are tiny and all three of our dogs will eat them if they are left out. Little jingle balls pose a problem as well so we don't use those.

As far as cat toys that should usually be okay around dogs would be something like the round track with a ball stuck in it that can't be removed. Laser pointers are always great and cat fishing poles but you'd have to put it up when your not using it.

Do your dogs like to rip stuffing and squeakers out of toys?

We also have lots of climbing posts and a cat tunnel for the kitties to play with. boxes with holes cut into them are always something fun that most dogs won't destroy lol.
