good tip on dry amount

i see where some of you ask how long will 11lbs last? will here is a example chart that'll give you a idea i hope it helps

later im going to do brands and how much is in each lb just give me awhile on that

i messered different dry dog and dry cat food out and 4.4 is most commen in lbs

every 1 lb of cat or dog food has around 4.4 cups in it it'll last 4 days if you feed a cup

example weights cups may vary depends on wight and size of kibble but i did find 4.4 cups in lb is more commen

7lbs 30 1/8 cups

11lbs 48 1/4 cups

20lbs 88 cups

35lbs 154 cups

40lbs 176 cups

50lbs 220 cups

83lbs 365 1/2 cups <1 yr if feed 1 cup

This is a helpful chart for people who feed dry.  It would also be a good way to monitor if your cat is eating less/more:  if that half bag of food seems to last forever, then maybe there is a medical issue your cat is hiding (which we all know cats do all to well).

Not all dry food have the same amount of calories.  If your cat self-regulates her/his food intake, then the dry food may last longer/shorter--but that is really idiosyncratic to your particular cat.
