They simply CANNOT be trusted with anything!

The other day, I stuck some Martha Stewart mouse/rats glow-in-the-dark Halloween cutouts on the stair risers. Of course, Loki had to sit on the step above me, supervising.

Now, every morning, when I come downstairs, and every night, when I come home from work, we have several rat casualties, scattered around the house. I don't think it's Loki, though--most likely the Hooligan Sisters, especially Gemma and Lucie.

I've taken to sticking the rats on the walls.

I also love it when I find their toy mice placed in their food dishes! My cats are so civilized, they place their prey on plates before eating!

You stick rats all around the house at pussycat reachable heights and are then surprised that they 'kill' them??

I haven't had Halloween or Christmas decorations up for almost eight years!  I do put a pumpkin on top of the fridge but even there, it isn't always safe.

I do love the image of them figuring out how to peel them off the wall, though!

Been there. Only in our case, it was Hydrox, The Old Coot, and our village was a train set that we used to (USED TO) put under our Christmas tree. My dad made little buildings and trees and stuff that we had a little village under there. It was nice.

And then Hydrox P. Puddy came to live with us as a wee 5-week old kitten. The rest is history.
Hydrox loved to chase that little train.
