Hi, my name is Maria. I'm obviously new to the site 
I have 2 boy cats. Milo, an orange and white short hair age 6 and Santiago, a grey medium hair age 2.
Milo was my friends cat. My cat, Cassius, had just passed away and Milo needed a place to stay for a little while. Poor guy was living in a sad situation. We didn't really bond because i was still heartbroken about Cassius and i didn't think Milo was going to be with me long. Well a couple weeks turned into 2 years and now he is a permanent member of the family. He instantly became BFF's with my boyfriend. I got bummed because I wanted my own cat and after a long conversation we decided to expand our family and that lead to me adopting....
Santiago! I saw his profile on the Humane society website. He didn't have a pic because he had just gotten there, but he met the criteria (male, declawed and not a kitten) so I grabbed my cat carrier, drove 90min and went to check him out. I fell in love instantly with his cute little face and extra toe! He had been previously adopted out, but returned due to allergies. How could i say no? We were on our way home in 30min
Santiago and Milo got along very well for cats. A couple little spats and they were good! Every now and then they still fight, but I think it's mostly play that gets out of hand. Milo is a delicate flower and Santiago is like a...how do i say it nicely...a bulldozer! He seems to take things a little too far with the roughhousing
They definitely provide a lot of entertainment and love in out little family.
Anyone else want to share the story of how your furbabies became part of your family?
