Hey pussy lovers! I'm in need of advice. About a month ago I came across a 1 eyed pregnant kitty (Tutti) that looks like a kitten herself. I've fallen for this sweet girl n wit the weather getting colder at night I've decided to take her in. 1 BIG problem, I already have young female cat (Lady Meow Meow) who she keeps attacking. Its not fair to Meow Meow cuz she's a prisoner in her own house. Besides seperating them in different rooms is there anything else I can do? And will it get better after Tutti has her litter?

Yes, after delivery and raising of the kittens, and spaying, it will get better.  Titti is surely defensive 1. becuause of her one eye - she doesnt sees properly and had learned, better to attack first, then be ambushed.  2. she is getting now into her protective mode being high preg.   And also, she is fertile.

Im sure of this analysis: the most common is adopted homeless do adapt to the home cats, they are eager to please themselves in.   But here you do have the exception - by several good reasons.

For now, do have them in different rooms, till you had stabilised everything.  At least as their safe bases.

Besides, there is always wise to have some quarantine with such rescued homeless.  So make a merit out of necessity.

This safe quarantine room will also by itself  make Titti less stressed and calmer.

Use a Feliway adapter, in Tittis room, and perhaps even in Lady Meow compartment - if she is anxious because of the changes.  Feliway isnt cheap buyed at your pet shop or your vet, but  you can get fill ups at Ebay or Amazon, it will be much cheaper.

There are also useful  Flower essences, google up the Jackson Galaxy site...

Play also relaxing calm music.  Classical harp music is best, but almost any relaxing soft music works.  In our Stray & Ferale subforum we have threads about such music.

There are also lotsa of tips on how to get two cats to be used to each other, be introduced.  Especielly in our Behavior subforum they write often about it.   But I think the best is to wait with introductions  till Titti is done with them kittens.  Unless you notice Titti is listening interested after  Lady Meow and making a lot of friendly noises.

I mean, if you were forced to, you COULD make a try to introduce them properly NOW before the delivery. But you arent forced, you do have enough with rooms to keep them separated, no?

If you dont have rooms, many rescuers use their bathroom, or a big dog cage.

Last, but not least in this my post, some links I did "lended" from my collegues:
