Was wondering if anyone has used this for cats. I was thinking of trying one of them to give my feral cats. They have very dull coats and scratch all the time. I have been able to put flea treatment on a couple of them in the past but still scratch themselves constantly. I used to use the Solid Gold Seameal  for one of my dogs years ago and had good results.

Thanks

Apparently no one has used the supplements, or no one has used them for skin/coat/itching conditions you mention.

Can you remind us what you're feeding them?

I do know omega 3s are anti-inflammatory and can help with skin/coat problems. Salmon oil is expensive though, and cheaper fish oils sometimes cause more problems than they do help, because omega 3s are so sensitive to processing. Evening Primrose oil (500mg daily) may help, and it's not as expensive as salmon oil.

I should add... but the dull coat and itching indicates there is a problem with the food, especially if it's not just one cat with a problem.

We have used Missing Link Professional Strength for 6 or 7 years and all of our kitties have done very well on it.  They have healthy, lush, fur and it's so soft.  We also feed them a high quality canned food which contributes to healthy skin and coats as well.
