Many thanks for all the birthday wishes - I woke this morning to be very shocked and stunned by the 34 balloons that I knew nothing about in the lounge from my son.
Strange that i spent about half an hour blowing them all up last night and spent an hour wheezing like a puffer train after. I had to do the bit and act shocked and stunned.
Its been a busy day - in the office, then away 150 miles round trip to collect three x stitches of Carols. Home then after treating her ladyship to a new leather coat and am optimistic that I may have a glass of wine tonight if the child ever goes to bed.
Been an interesting year for me - however, being woken to a "good morning and happy birthday love - you only have 6 more years till you are 40" was not the way I hoped the day to start.
I intend to set targets for this year.
1 - make more people laugh
2 - make more believe in themselves... Kate Ang!!!!!!
3 - Get new job and move to Toronto
4 - try and get off the anti depressants
5 - Fly more
6 - make more people laugh!
So providing I get the time, will sink a glass of wine, watch a dvd - maybe the matrix reloaded or GREASE - now thats a movie - timeless for me and I extend my thanks for making this old fogey feel real old and starting to look for his zimmer frame!
I went to a wedding yesterday of two televisions - the wedding was great - the reception was rubbish.( sorry - groan time).. and if I ever see another frog again (April------ loved the email though - thats a real cat) then I swear that I will be leaping over the atlantic to have quiet words with you all.
Final question.. can aethiests get insurance for acts of god??
