hello!

I found this website when doing research re feline diabetes and appropriate foods.

yes, my little Brita girl kitty [age 15-16] has been diagnosed with diabetes but the hope is that with a diet change she will be able to go off insulin.

there are 3 other kitties in the household:

Spikey, age 15-16
Parkour, pushing 1.5 years
Fredde, 15 months

all my cats were "found" or "rescued".

a house without a kitty is not a home!

Hi and welcome to TCS! Have you seen the diabetes info on www.catinfo.org? You may found it useful. That site also has a great comparison chart of wet foods to help you make food choices for your kitties.

yes, have spent hours of research the past week.

this is one of 3 [2 of which are feline diabetes related and/or named] that I've subscribed to.

have decided to go with FF Classic.

its a pity because I thought I was doing the right thing with good wet canned foods.....however, my research indicates they are loaded with carbs.

sigh.

i'm also going to be feeding Life's Abundance Instinctive Choice.
