Do you dress up and hand out candy ? Do you go out with your kids /grandkids ?  Do you go to the neighbors with your candy and have a little night fright ?

Or do you just shut off your lights and pretend no ones home ?

I love to go with the grandkids and my daughter to the school neighborhood cause we see old friends walking with their kids. My daughter and the kids and son in law have a  theme every year. Once they dress up like the Adams Family, Scooby Doo Gang  It was really fun to see that my daughter could come up with  great ideas. And no I didn't dress up either.

October 31st is my daughters 34th birthday She was born at 12;10am and I call her every morning at this time to wish her a Happy Birthday. She knows I'm going to call, why doesn't she just set her clock at better yet, stay awake ?

Maybe it is more considerate to call her at 8 am rather than at 12:10 am which is 10 minutes passed midnight.

I always called her at this time I think it's kind of funny and I think she does too. I also call my son at 6;54 am on his birthday.

I think that's really neat and I like that tradition!

We live on a dead-end street at the end of a long road so kids don't usually come by here. There are a few kids on our street who used to come by when they would start their rounds, but they are 16 or older now (one is in college), so we usually don't get any trick or treaters. I don't dress up unless there's a costume party.

The first few years we lived here I decorated the front of the house and thought maybe the lights would draw the kids down the road, but no. My husband and I usually go out for a walk that night to see all the costumes. We used to take our daughter out begging for candy, but now she's 15 and goes out cosplaying with her friends - they will use any excuse to cosplay. We're in a great neighborhood for trick or treating and is really active that night, but our house is kind of tucked away and not visible unless you know it's there.
