Feeding very well and the mom is paying attention to them. I donr hav a heater or heating pad yet, so I'm just heating blankets in the dryer and putting them in there for warmth, in addition to keeping the house at 75F. Hoping to get a heater tonight but it may hav to wait

Got two calicos and one creamy white kitten. White is a boy and the calicos r, of course, girls. One has splotches and the other has faint orange hairs scattered about, mostly on the face. That one is very loud!

The creamy white is almost surely a point (esp as mom herself is a point -  dad was prob a carrier; it should give a ratio of half - half), with a little luck you will see it in a week, but may come up somewhat later too.

Good luck!

One of them is 10g underweight. What should I do?

You mean,  its 10g less than the others?  Its probably individual varying.

IF it is smallish, you make sure it has proper time at the teats.  For example, you lay it to the teaths when the bigger siblings are asleeep.

What you do by weigh them daily, is to see the changes.See the starting weights,  AND If they gain everyday.

If not, analyse why...  Too little time at the teats, if mom doesnt has milk enough, if you must give extra, kmr or goat milk.

Continue reports and questions!

Good luck!

I weighed them yesterday and they shuld hav gained 7 percent of their body weight by today. The other two gained more than that but the one didnt quite get there.
Right now they're 150, 150, and 175 roughly (my scale only does 25g at a time so its hard to tell)

Its not really possible to say without better scales. Try to get some. In the meantime is the smaller kitten plump & content?

You can feel her ribs, but she's not trying to eat any extra. She doesn't move as much as the others.

I cannot get a better scale. Don't have money. This one I'm borrowing from my neighbor.

OK, so now you know, this one is the one you must look a little extra for.   Perhaps even considering some extra feeding, by bottle or by dropper.   (easier by dropper, but bottle in a way better  - if it is too easy,   she perhaps doesnt bother to nurse her mom).   Look if you can find a good kmr or goat milk, to be prepared.

Google on the brand of kmr milk you see, or ask us.

Get also home destrose - ist the most common commercial brand of  glucose sugar.  (if you dont use it for the kittens, you can use it yourself, for examples at exams, or in baking).   Dextrose is useful in many emergency situations, for cats and for people.

If you dont find any such - you can use honey, or white caro syrup.  But real glucose sugar is best.

Also, be sure the kitten s is warm enough.  Weak kittens tend to freeze too.

IF she is really weak, "lethagic" "uninterested",   you can try and perk her up by smearing some glucose on her gum.

Good luck!

They're all doing fine, except for the white one. Their eyes r starting to open, and the white one's eye is crusted closed. It was fine yesterday but this morning its all yucky and closed. We've been cleaning the area gently with warm water but we dk wat else to do

Sounds like the white kitten has conjunctivitis. You need some antibiotic ointment to put on the kitten's eyes. Left untreated can lead to serious problems.

You need to gently bath it's eyes at least twice a day, and if it was my kitten I'd ring my vets for some ointment.  The normal one in the UK is Fucithalmic, but that didn't work for the infection my kittens had and they had to have one with gentamycin in.  The right ointment clears the infection up almost overnight, but you MUST keep going for as long as the instructions say to.

I used saline from a bottle for contact lenses to bath, dripped onto half of a cotton wool make-up remover pad - one pad does one clean, and it's easy to use a clean one for each eye.  If one eye is better than the other bath that one first, and wash your hands well before and after.

Keep a very good eye on the other kittens as it's quite common for sticky eyes to spread.
