I've never owned kittens but a good friend has 2 of them, 6 months each (litter mates).
I just sent her info about how awful the food is she's been feeding them and she committed to switch asap (Hills, you know the drill). Gave her comparisons and breakdowns of what was in the food and what each "bad" ingredient was and why.
However, I wasn't sure at what age they can really start completely eating adult formula food. They have been obviously eating kibble and canned food for a while. I don't see why this should matter, other than needing some extra fat and calories.
I'd like to give her a good answer, so she feels comfortable with her feeding plan.
