He won't stop biting!!!!

Emmett has no reason to bite me.

I don't abuse him in any way. If anything I overly spoil him.

But when ever we are playing, usually before I go to sleep, he'll bite me. He'll bite hard. Yesterday I had teeth marks on my arm. Tonight I was playing with him, he was all purring and everything. I was petting him a bit and he started to bite me. I told him "no" in a firm voice and he pounce at me, towards my face. I have to cover myself totally in the blanket for him to go away.

How can I get him to stop??? In every other way he is a good kitten. I'm so mad at him right now. He brought me his mouse to throw for him and I just snubbed him.

I need to know how to punish him so he knows what he is doing wrong so he will stop and our play sessions can be fun and not vicious!

What you have to do is to train him not to bite (rather than trying to punish him into stopping). Click here for a thread that tells how to stop this kind of biting.
