My sister in law has a bangel cat that dislocated her hip. The vet adjusted it. But she isn't better and is losing muscle mass.
Can she have MS or MD?
MY sister inlaw is thinking on putting her down, thinking the cat is in too much pain.
The cat is eating IAMS dry. Sorry ladies not even dan food. The cat won't eat it.
What can I do to help her?

I think she needs to return to the vet or get a second opinion if not getting enough help from her current one.

Not eating is a major problem for cats if it's allowed to go on past 24-48hrs. Please tell her to have the cat seen again. The vet should be able to offer pain medication to get her through this, until she's healed. She may also need fluids by now.

She has been to two vets so far. The last one was a chiropractor.
She may need more fluids, sure. Won't just drinking more water take care of that?
Does Ultrasound sound good? They have xrays.

If she is drinking, yes then that is great to keep her hydrated, but she is also not eating? Have you tried wet food? Not eating can lead to liver issues if she does not eat at least 50% of what her normal diet would be, short term, long term she'll start to loose weight. She needs to eat, even if this means she'll need assist feeding (force feeding using a syringe). Was she put on anything for pain? What did the vet say about her prognosis re the hip? Did they offer any advise?

She is eating and drinking.
Yet she is dropping weight.
Up her food?
She still isn't walking and running.
Maybe another adjustment?
The cat did just live in the basement. They let her up. See if that will help.
She seems so weak to me. When I saw her. You couldn't ask for her to play for sure.
